4. Prohibited and Restricted Items

To ensure the legality and safety of our platform, the following items are strictly prohibited from being offered, traded, or exchanged on 37th Place:

• Firearms, ammunition, and explosives (including parts and components)
• High-capacity magazines, silencers, or weapon accessories that are restricted
• Improvised weapons, recipes or instructions for constructing weapons
• Illegal substances & paraphernalia
• Illegal drugs, controlled substances, and precursor chemicals
• Drug manufacturing or distribution equipment and instructions
• Psychoactive compounds, designer drugs, and unapproved research chemicals
• Regulated & restricted goods
• Items requiring specific licenses, permits or age verification (e.g., alcohol, tobacco, firearms)
• Prescription medications, medical devices requiring a prescription, and controlled medical supplies
• Certain chemicals, pesticides, and hazardous industrial materials
• Fraud, theft & counterfeits
• Stolen goods or items obtained unlawfully
• Counterfeit goods, fake documents, or pirated media
• Services or items intended to facilitate fraud (fake IDs, forged documents)
• Personal data & accounts
• Personal information or identity documents of others (SSNs, passports, driver’s licenses)
• Digital accounts, passwords, private keys, or login credentials
• Sensitive financial information (full credit card numbers, bank account credentials)
• Harmful biological & lab items
• Pathogens, biological agents, or materials that pose biosafety risks
• Specialized lab equipment for culturing or handling hazardous biological agents
• Wildlife, animals & biological products
• Live animals (unless allowed by platform rules and properly accredited handlers)
• Endangered species, ivory, or products derived from protected wildlife
• Human remains, organs, blood, or body parts
• Sexual & age-sensitive content
• Sexual services, prostitution, escort services, or offers that exploit or sexualize minors
• Explicit sexual content involving persons without their consent
• Dangerous goods & perishables
• Flammable, corrosive, radioactive or otherwise hazardous materials without correct packaging/permits
• Perishable foods or goods offered without proper handling, storage, or shipping plans
• Consumer products recalled for safety reasons
• Intellectual property & regulated media
• Items that infringe on intellectual property rights (unauthorized replicas, leaked media)
• Trade secrets or proprietary code shared without permission
• Financial, legal & professional services
• Unlicensed financial instruments, investment schemes, or high-risk securities being sold without registration
• Legal, medical, or other professional services offered without proper credentials
• Privacy, surveillance & hacking
• Surveillance equipment intended for illegal spying (stalkerware, covert cameras) sold without disclosure
• Hacking tools, malware, or services that facilitate unauthorized access
• Illicit or extremist content
• Materials that promote or facilitate terrorism, hate crimes, or organized unlawful activity
• Merchandise supporting designated extremist organizations
• High-value goods & verification
• High-value items (art, rare collectibles, precious metals) that require provenance or escrow to prevent fraud
• Luxury goods that are frequently counterfeited—require verification
• Other
• Services or items that violate local, national, or international laws where they are offered
• Anything that violates platform-specific terms of service or community guidelines
• Items that present an unreasonably high risk to buyer or seller safety

If you offer or attempt to trade any prohibited or restricted item, your account may be suspended or terminated immediately, and you may be reported to the relevant authorities.

5. No Monetary Transactions

37th Place is a barter-based platform, and no monetary transactions should take place for goods or services exchanged through the website.

6. User Responsibilities

You are solely responsible for:

• Ensuring that any goods or services you offer comply with all applicable laws.
• Ensuring that the items you offer are your own or that you have the legal right to trade them.
• Resolving disputes directly with other users regarding trade terms, delivery, or quality.

No Refund Policy:

• All sales are final - No refunds will be provided for any reason
• Credits purchased cannot be refunded if unused
• Subscription fees are non-refundable, even if cancelled mid-cycle
• Failed trades, unresponsive users, or unsuccessful bartering attempts do not qualify for refunds
• Platform operates similar to dating or social networking sites - user engagement is not guaranteed
• Forgetting to cancel subscriptions does not qualify for refunds
• Technical issues or service interruptions do not qualify for monetary refunds

By purchasing any credits, subscriptions, or premium features, you acknowledge and agree to this strict no-refund policy.

All prices are shown in USD unless otherwise stated. Taxes may apply. All purchases are final and non-refundable. We do not store your payment information.

Subscription Management:

• Users are responsible for managing their own subscriptions
• Cancellation must be done before the next billing cycle
• No partial refunds for unused subscription time
• Forgetting to cancel is user responsibility - no exceptions

18. User Conduct and Fraud Prevention

• Do not use ad blockers, automation, or any method to circumvent ad viewing requirements.
• Do not attempt to manipulate, hack, or abuse the ad or payment systems.
• We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts for suspected abuse or fraud.
